CQL Omni User Bulletin

Dear CQL Omni Users,

Some CQL Omni users have recently been affected due to Windows® updates, mostly Windows 10. These Windows updates have changed the background programming in which CQL Omni 7.8 operates. CQL Omni software updates are no longer released and optimized for Windows 10 compatibility.

Our current software, CQL Pro, replaced CQL Omni in Feb 2018. We strongly recommend CQL Omni customers users upgrade to CQL Pro software.

CQL Omni 7.8 will continue to operate under Windows 10 by following these instructions (Video Explanation):

• Step 1.  Download https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/PTmhMYgwFB MS Access database engine 2007.
• Step 2. Right-click the access installer file and run as administrator. Select the uninstall option (reinstall/repair option does not always work).
• Step 3. Right-click the installer file again and run as administrator. Complete install screens.
• Step 4: Test and continue to print with CQL Omni 7.8

Upgrading to CQL Pro is the preferred path, since future Windows upgrades may adversely affect CQL Omni operation.
